Instead of having temporary stairs installed during construction, you can have the finished staircase put in straight away, so there’s no doubling up of work. Weatherproof Stairs are carpet grade stairs made from durable materials that can handle the weather and hard knocks while the house is being built. Installing the finished stair earlier also allows preparation of associated services to start earlier such as plumbing and wiring that are designed to run under the stair.
Please note Weatherproof Stairs are only suitable for staircases that will be carpeted. If the finished staircase features exposed timber, you will still need to use temporary stairs during construction. Temporary safety stairs can be hired or purchased directly from us.
